Possible Solutions

SOLUTIONS:

Online Courses

-Students would lose the college campus experience that they would otherwise receive.  The online courses might not be as accurate and helpful as in-class courses.

Opting to Test Out of Classes

-Not all students could benefit from this solution, therefore this wouldn’t be a good solution to help all students

Trying to Work While Going to School

-Not all students would be able to work due to their schedules and class times and/or class pressures, therefore not a good solution for all students. On the other hand this would be a great solution for students who are able to hold a job as well as good grades in their classes

Scholarship Opportunities

-If right measures are taken, all students could potentially benefit from this solution, but still some students could qualify for less scholarships than others

Lowering Tuition Altogether

-This is make college costs a lot more affordable to students while at the same time, it could boost enrollment rates

Creation of a College-Age Support Group

-This will give students the opportunity to talk to actual college students about their experiences and their struggles. Students will see first-hand how the financial struggle can be while at the same time, they can be pointed in the direction of Advising Counselors and Financial Counselors.

Lowering Book Costs

-This would help college students when it comes to classes. This will ensure that students will more than likely get all their required material instead of blowing it off to save money to pay off their tuition.

OUR GROUP’S SOLUTION:

We believe that the most effective solution would be simply reducing the amount of tuition but also adding some fundraisers or programs to help cover the cost.
